Livvy Dunne cheered on boyfriend Paul Skenes during his Opening Day start for the Pittsburgh Pirates yesterday at LoanDepot Park in Miami.
The 22-year-old LSU gymnastics star shared several Instagram updates while watching Skenes pitch against the Marlins on March 27. She posted a selfie wearing a black tank top and Pirates cap with the caption “hooray for opening day” alongside a baseball emoji.
Dunne wasn’t alone for the big day. She shared a selfie with Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Xandra Pohl, who joined her to support Skenes. She also captured a video of Skenes recording his first strikeout of the season, adding “First K of the season” with a green checkmark emoji to the post.
When Raisman and Skenes posed together, Dunne couldn’t resist highlighting the moment, writing “too much goat in one photo” with a goat emoji.

Skenes had a solid outing in his 5.1 innings of work, striking out seven while allowing just three hits and two earned runs. Despite his efforts, the Marlins edged the Pirates 5-4 on a walk-off single in the ninth inning. The Pirates have three more games in the series to bounce back, with matchups tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday.
The couple began dating in summer 2023 after meeting as student-athletes at LSU in Baton Rouge. Dunne has become a regular at Skenes’ games, supporting him throughout his rise to the majors.
Skenes addressed their relationship last August, acknowledging the challenges that come with dating someone with Dunne’s public profile.
“It’s nice, for sure,” Skenes said. “It can be a pain in the butt sometimes, to be honest, in terms of actually going somewhere. If one of us went out in Baton Rouge by ourselves, there’s probably gonna be someone there asking for something — picture, autograph, whatever.”
He added: “It’s nice to be able to have that conversation. She does get it. I do wish she could come to a baseball game and just enjoy it. It does irk me. I don’t have any control over it. She really doesn’t either. I’m sure it’ll get better as I go up levels, but that’s something I want for her.”
