Both teams have been playoff regulars lately. The Phillies are riding a four-year postseason streak, while the Eagles have made it five straight years.
Back in 2022, Philadelphia came painfully close to the ultimate dream scenario. The Eagles reached the Super Bowl while the Phillies made it to the World Series. Both teams lost.
The 2024 season brought some redemption. The Eagles finished the job with a dominant Super Bowl victory, though the Phillies couldn’t get past the NLDS again in either 2024 or 2025.
